Yoga Retreat with Jeff Starin and Keric Morinaga
May 28-31, 2010
In Anusara Yoga, we open our hearts, set them free, and follow them wherever they lead. This Memorial Day Weekend, we invite you on a journey of the heart, leading you deeper into your yoga practice. The long weekend will include yoga classes, guided meditation, and philosophy sessions. Your heart may lead you to take every class or pick just a few. Jeff and Keric will be available for questions and discussion throughout the entire weekend. The beautiful Laurel Springs Ranch, in nearby Santa Barbara, will provide the perfect environment for relaxation, rejuvenation, and of course yoga. Lounge by the outdoor pool, relax in the jacuzzi, swim in the spring-fed swimming pond, hike miles of mountain trails, get a massage, and discover pristine spots to journal, nap, read, or paint. Enjoy the relaxing beauty and tranquility of the grounds and dine on organic food grown on-site, getting just far enough out of town to allow yourself to unwind, while indulging in yoga classes each morning and late afternoon. Do as much or as little as you desire, as long as you follow your heart...

Jeff Starin has been practicing yoga since 1998 and was introduced to Anusara Yoga in 2004. He completed the first of many teacher trainings the following year, and has since completed hundreds of hours of training directly with John Friend and with many other seminal teachers. He co-founded Urth Yoga in 2006. Yoga radically transformed Jeff’s life, and he feels his dharma is to share these teachings with others so they can experience the radical shifts that yoga invariably offers to those who pursue them.
In early 2002, Keric sustained a shoulder injury in the gym. As an alternative to lifting weights, he decided to try yoga for the first time. After one class, he discovered that yoga offered much more than just a great workout. Yoga quickly became his primary training for body, mind, and spirit. Keric's yoga practice, training, and teaching are dedicated to the Anusara style, a heart opening practice that focuses on alignment. In his teaching, Keric strives to be creative and fun, helping students to take their practices off the mat and into their daily lives.
